• Importance Of Prayer & Bible Reading

    PRAYER

To nurture and grow our relationship with God more, we encourage prayer and bible reading. This is a great daily discipline. It is also a wonderful joy – to communicate with the Creator personally! Do this with God. Tell your thoughts, feelings, desires, concerns. Share your life with the one true God of all Universes. God wants to hear from you.

For more about prayer read 1 Timothy 2:1-7. Jesus says in Matthew 6:9-13: “Our Father in Heaven, hallowed be your name. Your Kingdom come, your will be done, on Earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts (sins), as we also have forgiven those who sin against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil”. (Multiple version quote.) You can also look up the word ‘prayer’, ‘pray’, ‘prayers’, and ‘praying’ in the bible to see more references.

    BIBLE READING

It’s really good for us to read God’s Word ‘THE BIBLE’. How should we live our lives for God? God tells us and lets us know. The Bible teaches us: morality; about God’s character, about the world in the past; the present; and the world in the future. By reading the Bible, you get to see God’s plan for the world, how a man can reconcile the partly broken relationship between God and Man. We also can see how we can live with God forever.

World Praying Together also encourages the people of God to spend more time with him each day. He tells us to read this his word in Ephesians 6:10-20. To grow your Christian life, also ask: how can I live my life more for you Lord! What other things can I change with you as boss of my life? Doing this will also improve our focus. We will make corrections and adjustment in our life for God. See 2 Timothy 3:16-17 and Philippians 4:6. This is for the glory of our God and our Saviour.

All these things will help you grow and improve in: Godliness; knowledge; depth of insight; effectiveness; other-person centeredness; love; joy; peace; patience; goodness; kindness; gentleness; faithfulness; self-control. See Philippians 1:9-11; Galatians 5:22-23. This is what The Lord wants us to do/be.
